Bilal Zafar doesn't want to be introduced as an AI expert. "There are no real AI experts, the topic is much bigger than us," he tells Totinia Hörner in the podcast studio on site at BUS2BUS 2024. Bilal Zafar is the founder of two internet companies, an international speaker and an experienced and enthusiastic user of AI. He speaks in a deliberately humorous and entertaining way about the opportunities that artificial intelligence can offer people both professionally and privately.

"I want to motivate people to get involved. We in Germany are always a bit pessimistic, complain and don't want to try things out. But we can't just leave this opportunity of the century to the Americans and Chinese," he says.

Zafar believes that AI is underestimated. "We humans always make the mistake of not taking something seriously just because we can't imagine it," he says. The topic of digitalization is technologically over and should have long been integrated into companies and authorities in order to be able to use AI, he explains and calls for framework conditions and regulations to be addressed, but not used as an excuse not to try something out.
